Ultramarines Gravis Captain
Painted to Gold tier: four to five edge highlights on most surfaces, volumetric highlights, and soft and line shading. Follow the build stage by stage on Instagram.
Silver, Gold, Platinum
Every tier is painted to 'Eavy Metal standard. The difference is how far the detail goes.
Silver
Built for armies
- Armour and main surfaces highlighted to full Gold standard
- Lighter work on small details
- The way to get a whole army to box-art standard
Gold
The house standard
- 4–5 edge highlights on most elements, 6 on black
- Volumetric highlights
- Soft shading and line shading
Platinum
The best I can produce
- Gold-tier work taken further on every detail
- For characters, centrepieces and display pieces
No fixed price list. A red army and a yellow army aren't the same job, so every project gets its own quote.
Real timings, not guesses
I time my own painting sessions stage by stage, so quotes come from data rather than a rough guess. Each quote covers the painting, a buffer, and the time for progress updates, messages and careful packing.
You get one flat price before anything starts.

FAQ
Do you paint full armies?
Yes, at box-art standard. Silver tier is designed for armies: the armour and main surfaces get the full Gold treatment, with lighter work on small details.
Why is there no price list?
The colour scheme, the models and the tier all change the hours. Each project is quoted individually from real timing data, so the price is fair for the actual job.
